I think I am officially done tweeking the blog.  For now at least.  LOL  I wanted something a little crisper and less busy.  The previous background was just too much for the eye to deal with.  I think the color purple adds a nice touch to the blog, I've tightened up the side bar, and added some pages up top to click on.  I made some other tweeks too, like the addition of 'other posts you might like' to the bottom of each article, adding a reaction to the post section where you can tell me if you felt '<3, meh, or fail' about the reviewed item, and some other tiny touches that are too many to mention.  Please take some time to look around and give me feedback on the new look and layout.  I'd love to hear your take on how I can improve the blog for my readers. <3

I first discovered Queen Helene in my Grammie's medicine cabinet.  I was about 8 or so and I remember thinking how cool it's going to be when I'm grown up enough to use it.  I didn't think about Queen Helene till it was mentioned in an article as being one model's go to face saving secret to stay fresh during the hectic events of Fall Fashion week.  I ran out to Ulta that day and picked up a bottle to try.

Afterglow is a lovely opalescent pink that shimmers and changes depending on how the light hits it.  The picture doesn't do this polish justice in terms of showing the colors it can do.  The formula was smooth, no drag, and goes on sheer.  You will see a visible nail line even if you do three coats.  I did just two for the photo.  In one light my nails looked like they had a hint of pink, in another light they flashed blue and purple, and still another light they looked like pink pearls.  I love this polish!  It's great for work and with prom and wedding season coming up I can see this color getting quite a bit of use. I used Essie Millionails as a base and top coat. So what do you think?

You ever look back on a time in your life and wonder what you were thinking or wow I really did that?  I was sorting through our DVD/Blu-Ray collection and noticed how many shows from my High School and College years I had collected.  It also made me think of how many of the guys in these shows I wanted to marry or date.  So that got me thinking about a quick list for Wednesday to share.  The Top 5 Sci-Fi/Fantasy Guys of TV I Wanted!   Without further adieu (and in no particular order)...

If you haven't noticed all ready Royal Wedding fever has struck the USA.  If you watch TLC at all you may have picked up on it sometime last week.  And for regular news watchers (side glance to @sonicreckoning ) coverage of the Royal Wedding as well as recap shows of Diana and Charles' wedding are scheduled to air.  For me, I can't help being caught up in all of it.  So much so I'm planning on taking Friday off so I can be up at 3am to start watching the festivities.  I'll also be live tweeting and blogging during the wedding as well, giant boxes of tissues will be on stand by.  No I don't have a party planned, but I will be rocking my No More Waity Kaitie nail polish from Butter London (should have a review up soon) and if it arrives in time the matching lip gloss.

The Midnight Cowboy palette couldn't be passed up.  That much glitter and you think I'll say no?  Of course not!
