Hot Mama Monday - Coastal Scents Fall Festival Palette Review

From Thanksgiving all the way through New Year's Eve this palette will help you tackle every party, date night, shopping marathon, and even day to day looks for work or home.  It has it all!  Mattes, shimmers, and metallics, usable both wet and dry, to achieve any look your heart can dream up.

It's like row after row of jewel tones.  I love this palette, it really is one of my favorites by Coastal Scents.  For work I tend to hang around the neutral and pink tones and use one of the bolder tones as an eye liner.  At night I'll smoke out 2 or 3 shades on my eyes then layer on the mascara to really amp up the drama.  Shocking to say, but I could probably live on this palette alone for the rest of my days if I had to.  It truly is a versatile collection of colors.

Row 1: Chamois Nude (matte), Bright Copper (metallic), Dark Golden Olive (metallic), Light Apricot (metallic)

 I was so happy to discover that Coastal Scents has finally started naming their Hot Pot colors to go along with the numbers.  I love the Olive shade in this row, it's almost black.

Row 2: Kiwi Green (metallic), Deep Cantaloupe (metallic), Regalia Purple (shimmer), American Rose (shimmer)

 This is the fun row, the don't be afraid of some color row.  I love doing looks with the Cantaloupe and Kiwi shades.  Also for Green Bay Packers fans, these two colors are vital!

Row 3: Cherry Chocolate (shimmer), Raisin Berry (metallic), New Penny (metallic), Gunmetal (matte)

Raisin Berry is my fave in this row.  If you have brown eyes this will be your go to shade.  Trust me the plum purple in it's depths will make your eyes pop.

Coastal Scents really are some of the best, budget priced, well put together palettes on the market. I cannot encourage my duckies enough to pick these up for their collection.  I personally recommend this palette if you can only get one.  Or gift this one to the make up maven on your Giftmas list!
