MAC Surf Baby - Strange Potion Lipglass

I questioned myself getting this one when I had originally passed on it from Venomous Villains last fall.  The color is perfect for me but this one along with others from VV left me a bit wanting.  Application is perfect, color if rich and fabulous, but staying power just doesn't seem to be with this one.  I get maybe a few hours before it fades to almost nothingness.  Why Strange Potion why do you treat me so?



Strange Potion is another Limited Edition lipglass with a soft coral pink color.  Corals are one of those touchy colors that either look great on you or don't, at least from my experience.  It must be the tones found in the shades of pink like this that dictate if it works or not.  If corals do work for you definitely check this one out.  On some it's almost a my lips but better kind of shade.

Maleficent Movie Inspired FOTD

After seeing the Maleficent movie last night I was inspired to do a work appropriate face of the day (FOTD). What I used: Urban Decay Naked 2  palette eye shadows in Snakebite, Suspect, and Blackout Julep Eyes All A Glow gel liner in Black Shimmer L'Oreal Miss Manga mascara MAC Venomous Villains Maleficent blush in Briar Rose Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss lipstick in 10 MAC Venomous Villains Maleficent lipglass in Revenge Is Sweet How to apply: Start by applying your moisturizer, primer, and foundation.  Sweep Suspect across your entire eye lid.  Pat Snakebite on the outer 2/3 of your eye lid.  Pat Blackout on the order corner of your eyelid.  With an angled liner brush press Blackout along the outer 2/3 of your lash line.  Apply a thin line of  Black Shimmer onto the outer 2/3 of your lash line.  Sweep Miss Manga on your lashes with a few extra sweeps to your outer lashes.  Dust the apples of your cheeks with Briar Rose.  Apply 10 to your lips and dot Revenge I
