Hot Mama Monday - NARS Fire Down Below Lipstick

Hot Mama Monday is a new series that spotlights one item that I feel is a must have in your beauty bag.  If you only pick up one item this week have it be a Hot Mama item!

NARS Fire Down Below Lipstick is the perfect shade of red.  No blues, no oranges, just beautiful blood red lips.



A semi-matte finish in a color that doesn't bleed, doesn't need a lip liner, leaves a lovely stain, and lasts and lasts.  I am in love with NARS lipsticks at the moment and this shade has become a go to.  It glides on my lips and never feels dry.  In fact I swear I'm not wearing lipstick when I have it on.  What I love the most about this color is it's perfect for work and perfect for a night out.  It pairs lovely with a natural eye and played up lashes.

Maleficent Movie Inspired FOTD

After seeing the Maleficent movie last night I was inspired to do a work appropriate face of the day (FOTD). What I used: Urban Decay Naked 2  palette eye shadows in Snakebite, Suspect, and Blackout Julep Eyes All A Glow gel liner in Black Shimmer L'Oreal Miss Manga mascara MAC Venomous Villains Maleficent blush in Briar Rose Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss lipstick in 10 MAC Venomous Villains Maleficent lipglass in Revenge Is Sweet How to apply: Start by applying your moisturizer, primer, and foundation.  Sweep Suspect across your entire eye lid.  Pat Snakebite on the outer 2/3 of your eye lid.  Pat Blackout on the order corner of your eyelid.  With an angled liner brush press Blackout along the outer 2/3 of your lash line.  Apply a thin line of  Black Shimmer onto the outer 2/3 of your lash line.  Sweep Miss Manga on your lashes with a few extra sweeps to your outer lashes.  Dust the apples of your cheeks with Briar Rose.  Apply 10 to your lips and dot Revenge I
